On my '99 this was a simple procedure. Remove the dash front and the
steering column cover. You will see a small cable which goes below the
steering column, which is fastened to a small lever. You will see a white
plastic thumbscrew in that same general area. Just turn the thumbscrew, you
can see the orange indicator in the dash move. Just move it until you are
happy with the alignment.
