AOL USERS - FYI

This is just an FYI to all the AOL users on the DML. If you upgrade
to AOL 6.0, all of your e-mails will include an HTML attachment, and
there doesn't currently seem to be a way to turn it off! (I have been
in communication with someone at AOL, but no joy yet.) If you have
already upgraded, one solution that some people have done is to
"downgrade" to AOL 5. However, if you absolutely must upgrade to AOL 6.0,
or have already done so and can't go back, you will no longer be able to
post to the DML via e-mail (the attachments will cause the messages to
bounce) However, you *should* be able to post to the dml via the recently
set up NNTP newsgroup. (I don't think AOL has decided to include HTML
in its news reader yet.) :-P Anyway, to access the newsgroup, you will
want to set your news server to news.dakota-truck.net. It will
require authentication, so the usercode is "dml", password is "dml". The
name of the newsgroup is "dakota-truck". Another option might be to get
a free web based e-mail account such as is available from yahoo.com.
