I can try and get a hold of Mr Zimmer Monday and see what he's got to say.

A 2-BAR...maybe. But from conversations with reputable (DML approved)
shops, the 2-BAR will need some "adjustment" since it will run a little bit
leaner than needed in stock form. Now whether or not a simple "MAP Signal
Tweaking" or a PCM reprogram is required...I don't know.
I personally haven't max'd out my 24# injectors...and the factory fuel
pressure runs at 49psi +/- 5psi anyway. Under boost, I hit close to 80psi
with the FMU and inline fuel pump.

I'm glad you're in agreement. Bernd's A/F mixture is running 16:1. That's
pretty lean. So I wonder if a 2-bar or 3-bar MAP sensor is the answer? Or
maybe increase fuel pressure to 50 psi? Bigger injectors [Tim Allen grunt].
I'm thinking, what if you've already maximized the output of the injectors
you have?
