William,
Right behind your fan/clutch is the water pump. It is a pretty simple
straight forward replacement. Drain the anti-freeze, remove the serpentine
belt, fan, pulley, and heater hose tube. Unbolt and replace the pump (along
with a new gasket of course), then re-install the above parts and that's it.

Subject: DML: Waterpump Q's?

Well, as the guy goes to test drive my vehicle yesterday, the watermpump
blew. That's what he says. I wobbled the little round smooth thing that
turns, and it wobbles. What's this sound like? Sounds like the bearing or
something might have broke? They're replacing it tomorrow, so I should
have it back tomorrow night if nothing goes wrong. What could go wrong,
they just have to replace the waterpump. How detailed of a process is
this? What should I look for? Thanks

william
