Well just for parts it runs around $1000-1200 for a regular bag setup. Add
another $500-1000 for quick bags. Thats just for parts, usually for a
installed kit it runs around $3000-$5000 depending on the quickness and
difficulty. I just got my suspension fixed. Before it had ladder bars. They
were not properly put on so it rode bad and was very unsafe. We switched it
out to a 2 link setup with a monstrous panhard bar. I picked it up tonight
and it rides good and the power is all there. I just need posi now. I
stepped on the gas 1/2 down in first and it started to spin. They had to cut
of my tailpipe, so my flowmaster is has no exit pipe. It is really loud and
vibrating in the cab. The airbag system replaces your coil springs up front
and removes the rear leaf springs and sway bar. We were able to keep the
sway bar up front, even the Hotchkis one. I will take pictures tomorrow
since I am updating my site finally. Check out www.totallypolished.com and
drop them an email. Tell them Smokindakota sent you.

BTW, STAY AWAY FROM STEREOLAND in Ventura, CA!

Hey, how much would a basic air bag system for a 97 dakota 2wd truck cost?
I am thinking I want to have the ability to raise and lower the front and
rear end of the dakota and sit it on the ground while parked.

It also sucks that my bump stops are about 3/4 of an inch away from the rear
axle (unloaded!) so.... How much do you think we're talking about here. I
mean, just a basic system (doesn't have to be fast) where I have some in cab
controls to raise and lower the truck a lil?

PS. what does it all replace? would it get rid of the shock absorber in the
front, and rid of the leafsprings in the rear? I'm not too familiar with
these setups. Just fairly priced and reliable is what I'm looking for.
