Well Ron, I just got in from Nor Cal, took me 9 FRIGGIN' HOURS to get
from Los Molinos (20 miles north of Chico) to L.A.!!!!!! (500 miles)
I've done it in 6 1/2, average is 7, so that tells you how bad the
traffic was. Overcast really, no serious fog until night fell, then you
couldn't see accross the street!! All the way from the back side of the
Grapevine to the 210 where I cut off, traffic traffic traffic. 5 all the
way from Sacramento to Santa Nella, stop n' go, but not as bad as the
Grapevine. Hey, I averaged 18.5 on the trip, 75-80mph, and long grades
to climb!! Not bad......
