Gibson sells heat reflectors or shields. I would opt for those unless the
Gibson Headers are Ceramic coated.

Subject: DML: Heat from Headers?

I'm about to put on a set of Gibson headers on my 97 5.2 4x4. Right now I'm
filtering with a po' boy ( Edlebrock can/K&N filter ). Will the headers put
out more heat than normal and cause me to suck in hot air? If so I'm
thinking
of a tube from my intake with a cone filter, I know I've seen a few out
there. Any input needed and appreciated.

Thanks, JAKE
