Please do not put a fram filter on your dodge! Fram is a little better than
an empty can, but not much! Buy a good filter, such as a wix.I use only napa
gold, wich are wix's best filters. We did a study in my engines class here at
college and found the frams to be absolute crap!!! The wix's,however were
the best we found.I'm pretty sure the filters didn't change for '01.The
companies are usually kinda slow on updating the parts lists.HTH,

Okay, I checked the archives and nobody has asked this specifically
yet.
My baby is ready for the 1000 mile oil change and I want to
make sure the 4.7 didn't change oil filters from 2000 to 2001, since
no one is listing the 2001s yet on their equivalency list. So, the
right fram number would be PH16? Anyone recommend one brand over
another, preferably something I can pick up at the local Wal-Mart or
Autozone....(If a bunch of people get back to me, I'll throw this into
some HTML and see it we can put it up on the maint & upgrades page).

Any tips for installing the fumoto oil valve (anti-seize or
anything else) and what kind of tubing works best on them (for next
time)?

Thanks,
Corey Betka
