I've driven both Auto and Manuals since I learned how to drive. I must say
that it all depends on what you are driving.

Personally, I perfer a manual for a "performance" car, say.. if I owned a
Viper! hehe. I really wish I could afford one...

Anyway, I prefer auto-trannys for just about everything else. Yes, even on
my 4.7 QC. A Manual might be nice on the truck if I actually drove it
anywhere I would have need for it, but as I mostly drive in the city and in
rush-hour traffic (stop-and-go sometimes during peak hours), and mostly
highway driving, I don't see much need for a manual. Heck, I even passed up
on the 4x4 option for just the standard 2wd because I'd very rarely have a
chance to use it. Not to mention, the big difference in gas mileage :)
