Sounds like the battery might be going south on you. My '97 did the same
thing, wouldn't run unless you held the throttle down for a few seconds
then it was fine. Got a new 1000 cca Delco battery (sorry, I'm a Olds
guy!!), never had another prob for the remaiing 3 years I had it. Be
careful though, them batteries are HEAVY!!!
