The cost of these manuals was $36 and change, tax and shipping included,
direct from DC. These manuals are in addition to the FSM which is $90 + tax
+ shipping.

Generally speaking, in order to do a through analysis of faults in the
Dakota, a DRBIII scanner or its equivalent, is required. However, based on
the Diagnostic manuals I have just received there is enough information that
allows you to troubleshoot the old fashioned way, with a multimeter. You
just need to know what you're looking for. The manuals are very useful in
helping you isolate a problem whose root can be in many areas.

These books show all diagnostic codes, connectors and their locations plus
wire color codes. All diagnostic decision tables are included plus scanner
codes as well as required voltages and their allowed variances.

Here's a brief outline of what's in each manual.
