I knew it was too good to be true =/

Well... it's been gettin chilly here, so I bought the 180F stat from
Robertshaw, (had a 160 for the last 1/2 of the summer) and put it in
today...
While I had the 160F stat, I had true duals w/o cats put on, and just pulled
the o2 sensor and put it on the frame... and all was fine...
I guess the 160F stat was just enough for the computer to run open loop w/o
setting a code... because today, after putting in the 180F stat, the check
engine light comes on with codes 21 and 43 (21 is pretty much sayin "Wassup
with that 2nd o2 sensor buddy????" and 43 is a misfire code, (will check on
that after 21 is fixed, as multiple things could cause that, Hypertech, MSD,
ect...)
Does anyone know if the resistor and capacitor type MIL will work? (Home
made ones I found on a stang site)
anyways, I'll keep yall updated...
