Yuppers....that will work for part-throttle/boost conditions. The only item
that I found with the check valve device is that the standard Borg-Warner
#EC-601 Check Valves have a tendency to blow out after a few hard runs. I
had posted a Ford P/N# earlier this month on my MAP/Boost Bypass System.
I'll try to dig around for it again....

Subject: DML: Boost and MAP sensors bug fixed.
I have cured my part throttle boost problem. To keep the MAP from sending a
lean signal when under boost, I put a check valve in the line to the MAP.
Inbetween the check valve and the MAP, I put a tee fitting. I pluged the
open end and put a .050 hole though it. Checking with a vacuum gauge,
opening this hole reduces vacuum by about .25 of an inch but allows the
vacuum to drop off when going into boost. Since I've done this, I have had
no part throttle stumbles or surges.
