Re: ATI Procharger - Be careful

Ditto that. A few months back someone else on the list was trumpeting the
ATI Golden West Intercooled Supercharger and referred me to someone in
the Austin area who was selling his. Turns out I knew the individual
having met him at the March Texas DML meet. His vehicle was easy to spot.
There was oil leaking from the intake manifold, a situation he said was
caused by the ATI supercharger. Six months later and he is so disgusted
with the ATI Supercharger that he wants to sell his R/T since he's hardly
ever gotten to drive it since the ATI unit has caused him so much down
time. The down time was primarily related to the A/F mixture problems
which he said they were never able to solve.

Another key issue to me was that he said once he had paid for the kit and
installation it was extremely difficult to get Golden West on the
phone.Needless to say, I didn't buy the ATI unit from him.

Buyer beware.
