Oil Change

Alrighty quick dumb question for ya'll to argue over. I am doing an oil
change today. I got the filter, but I need the oil. So I am debating. Since
I think I don't want to do another oilchange till Feb or maybe March and
that may run me over my normal every 3,000 mile schedule (I hate changing
the oil while snow and ice are falling on you and dripping on you) I think
maybe I should pay the price and buy synthetic. I am also thinking the
synthetic sucks up into the block quicker on the cold mornings ( I must
admit I don't let the poor baby warm up as much as I should). Anyways, what
is everyone's opinion on this? Does this make sense or should I save my
precious money ( I am a college student) and just use regular oil, or is it
worth getting synthetic?
