Changing rear ends will not affect your speedometer. Changing tire and/or
wheel sizes will.

Subject: DML: Gearing Questions

I changed the tires on my truck, so now I have an equivalent of a 3.31 rear
end. If I want to put 3.92 gears in (I had a 3.55) will this affect the
speedometer? I have the 4.7L, so I know I can't change the speedogear. Will
the affect my odometer/speedometer by changing the rear ends?

Thanks
william
