I am right...as long as you have 98 or newer Dak. The way these new Dak's
work as I tried to explain before. There's something called an exciter ring
that's pressed on the differential after the ring and pinion gear. Then,
there's a rear wheel speed sensor that complements that. Those two things
"watch" the revolutions of the rear wheels and know when a mile has been
traveled. Not only that, but those two things also determine another thing,
whether you're attempting to slow too fast, hence the ABS system. These
items are after the ring and pinion gear. That's why changing the
differential gears has no effect on your speedometer.
