I am not saying that I wouldn't try to slip by myself. I am just saying
that some people have to go for gov. checkups. They do have numbers you
know...for one reason in mind. I would be pissed if I thought I bought a 99
v-6 when actually I bought a 97. Price would obviously different. I say
get the youngest engine you can afford and deck it out :)

FWIW, how would the EPA know if you used a 93? They all look the same,
especially if you retain all the wiring from the 97.
