Hey Guys,
I don't know how many of you do AutoX, but I've got to say it was exciting
to watch. Lots of different types of autos. From sports cars (Vettes and
Nissan ZXes) to ricers to trucks to econo cars (I even saw a Daewoo). I got
lots of pictures of Steve Ekstrand (STE) in his wonder SLT with 4.7L auto
and 305 tires. I'll develop and post the pictures in a day or two. Steve
had a passenger seat video camera set up in his car, I hope that turned out.
I don't think the tires on the Wonder SLT never stopped squealing throughout
the 60some odd second runs. Due to suspension problems and financial
crunching I didn't run my Dak. But I will for sure be ready for Fontana on
Dec 17th, maybe with new wheels and exhaust. I hope to see some more Daks
out there.
