Hop, Yes, these rears are set up at the factory (not by the dealer). Really the only failure in my rear was the spider gears, the rest of the damage was cause by shrapnel from the spider gears floating around and getting caught between moving parts. Had it not cut up one of my main caps, I could have rebuilt the rear end with aftermarket parts. Yep, the new one is warrantied, however, they would'nt warranty it this time, I'm not sure why'd they warranty in the future??

<< Matt,
When my rear end kersploded they replaced the carrier and pinion bearings. I
cost around $700 just for that! They didn't set it up right and it
kersploded in 3,000 miles! Luckily the area service Rep. Honored the whole
rear B'cuz the bearings let loose and tore up everything.. They replace the
gears, bearings, and clutch pack for the LSD. I know how ya feel, Is the
assembly set up from the factory?
They also come w/ a 6,000 mile warranty I think.
