| Not me, I got a 4.7 because it is quicker than a 5.9... (please do not
| start that debate again) and this way I got to have my first 5-SPEED...
One undeniable strong point of the 4.7 design is its weight, or lack
thereof.
The 4.7 weighs 150lbs less than a 5.9. That is a HUGE difference!!! And
given the option of a 5 speed in a 4.7 regular cab that you cannot get in a
5.9, you begin to get two big clues why a 4.7 can beat the 5.9 head to head
in stock trim. The manual is a big edge and the weight savings is big,
especially off the nose of a shorter wheelbase regular cab. Maybe this
partially explains Matt's tremendous 60 ft times.
