RE: Just G-Tech'd my truck again

Okay, about the G-Tech inaccuracy stuff... You only need to input weight for
the horsepower numbers, which you should do in 1st because you'll run into a
lot more drivetrain loss and aerodynamic drag at higher speeds. It samples
acceleration and integrates discreetly to get velocity, then does it again to
get displacement (distance), recording acceleration, velocity, displacement,
and time in 4 arrays - weight has nothing to do with it. When you're done, it
goes to where V > 60 and tells you your time, or X > 1380 and gives you V and T
at that instant. Pretty basic, but VERY cool. At higher gears you'll get
lower hp numbers because of drag, not to mention compounded drift. Anyway....

By the way, who can explain the differences between 1st, 2nd, and now 3rd
generation Lightnings? I've never spent much time around one and only know
that the 1st gens are the boxy flaresides and not supercharged. What are the
drivetrain / bodystyle / year specifics?
