Yeah I've been reading about this since I first heard about it a few months
ago. It looks like a really nice feature that would be benificial to jsut
about any truck.

An interesting side aspect is the auto industries push for 42 volt electrical
systems, that would be more powerful than the current 12 volt systems. They
need the extra power to run all the electrical systems they are thinking up
(four wheel steering, electric steering systems to replace hydrolic assisted
power steering, etc.) And with pressure from some of the computer companies,
the automakers are actually considering a STANDARD for computer components
and hook ups, making it a lot easier for all the electric goodies they want
to take up the dash with.

Personaly, I'm stil going to be saving for an old Hemi Cuda. I appreciate
the niceties when it's in my girlfriend's car, but I prefer to know I'm in
control of the car. Allows me to get intouch and be at one with my car, sort
of like the feeling you get with your dog, or tools, or maybe kids and wife
;)
