Thanks Josh. I will now replace my rear oil with the synthetic, since I am
constantly thrashing the truck.

Subject: DML: Update on Syntheic Oil and Warranty
This is the response back from Dodge:
------
Thank you for your recent e-mail to DaimlerChrysler Motors Corporation.
Any engine oil can be used as long as it meets the requirements listed in
your owner's manual on page 168 and 169. You also still still need to
follow the recommended maintenance schedule located in the back of your
owner's manual.
On page 139 of your owner's manual, "If you plan to use your vehicle to pull
a trailer for a significant number of miles, reduce the potential for rear
axle overheating by replacing the rear axle lubricant with synthetic
lubricant."
Thank you again for contacting DaimlerChrysler.
------
I like the part about Page 139 in the manual, I can't wait to call my dealer
back.....
Josh
