The North American P51 Mustang,starting with the "D" model.recieved the
"Rolls Royce/Merlin V-1710".This was a liquid-cooled engine,vs engines like
the Pratt & Whitney R-2800,found in the F4U Corsairs,made famous by the
Marines in WW II..

obviously neither engine would fit in a Dak (but imagine the torque ;)
