Doing what you did has nothing to do with manhood. It just shows that you
are human and make mistakes. I know I'm not perfect, the last time I tried
to walk on water (not the frozen kind, don't get any ice in the LA basin) I
nearly drown. Fortunately, no one was hurt, and while you have some
responsibility in challenging the guy, he was the one who accepted your
challenge. He should have known better. Its not like he was from some
southern climate where you never have to drive in snow and ice conditions
(like me who would be slipping and sliding all over the place).
Hey, you realized you made a mistake. You apologized for it. Hopefully you
learned from it. That is the sign of being a man (at least in my book). If
some members of this list rack you over the coals, just accept it as the
consequences of your actions. It will end soon. Don't bail from the list (I
seem to remember some flame war last week that had Ryan taking the blunt of
it, and he is still here). Speaking for myself, its over, you apologized,
