Hello, I have just recently added an 89 Dakota to my mopar collection. I
have some questions for the list. This is an standard cab long bed truck.
It has a 3.9l V6 with 3spd OD trans. The power steering in the truck is
super sensitive. Very little effort is needed to turn the wheels. Is there
any way to lessen this. It is so sensitive that you could blow in the
steering wheel and it would turn the tires. Also the engine sags on take
off. If you feather the pedal or nail it it works fine. However if you
just drive normally it will putter like it is going to die the take off. It
has a new cap and rotor. Plugs are fine and the TBI has been cleaned. A
dealer did a tune up on it and said that that was the best they could do.
The idle has to be set rather high to keep it from dying. Any hints on
anything else that I can check to fix this?

Thanks
