That's only a little over 99000 miles. It's just getting broken in. I'm only
putting about 3000 to 5000 miles a year on mine. It sits from December till
April. I've got a company car for work that I drive all the time. It works out
nice that I can keep the Dak out of the salt for the winter. A couple of other
things you might want to check is, the timing chain. Mine was getting noisy and
I replaced it at about 100000 miles. The other thing is the distributor gear
drive and brass bushing. Someone else on the list might be able to tell you how
to check it without actually pulling the dist. The thing I noticed was the
center contact on the dist cap was broken off. Probably from the shaft the rotor
is on moving around because of the bushing. When the dist was pulled all the
teeth on the drive gear were worn down to knife edges and a few were just about
gone.
