I beg to differ. The 4.7 is a cast iron block with aluminum alloy heads.

Nope, the 5.2L and 5.9L use the same block. The only difference is bore and
stroke. The heads are even interchangeable (however undesireable) The 4.7L
is
an all aluminum engine. With the V-6 springs, my truck sits at 29.8 inches.
With the V-8 fronts, it sat at 33". The V-6 and 4.7L are about the same
weight, believe it or not.
