Lifting a 2WD GenII

Evening everbody,

Riding in Andy Levy's very nice 99 4x4, and many hours of thought on
the matter, I have decided to lift my 93 4x2 Dak. My goal is to have
her fixed up by the Bloomsburg, PA truck show in August. I've been
thinking a 3 or 4" lift. I've been planning anyway on some 16x8" wheels
off the 2001 Daks, and I'll probably put 31" (or the equivalent) BFG
AT's on them. I found one 93 standard cab that was lifted 2", but has
anyone else lifted their 2WD GenII. Since I will probably be getting
new spindles to raise the front, can I use GenIII spindles if I have
to? I don't think I will be wanting to do a body lift (until I have the
power to back it up, I won't think of trying to copy Bernd:) so I am
just looking at suspension lifts.

And in case anyone wants to know what else I am planning to get done: V8
TB ported and polished, ported TB, homemade air intake (until I figure
out how to put a Cuda shaker hood on my truck:),some type of locking
differential, chrome bumper and an airdam from 95-96 Dak, roll pan or
maybe custom bumper for the rear, and pre-runner style front bumper
guard w/ mandatory driving lights. Any tips or other ideas are
appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike S.
