Small ones don't work very long. Babies grow fast. That's why I got a QC.
More room in back than a QC Ram...love it! Course, my grand-daughter's 2½
now and uses a "big girl's" car seat, as she puts it!

As long as you turn off the airbag you should be able to use just about any
rear facing car seat in the front. What brand of car seat do you use for the
back? I am looking for a small one to fit in the back.
