Hmmm. That's what I've been hearing (like a big rigs brakes at low speed) and I
just figured it was time for replacement. I've got a little over 36k on the odo
and I replaced the front pads about a month ago (which were really worn out).
The "auto-adjust" is just put 'er in reverse and mash the brake, yes?

Just curious Tom, why are you replacing them, and at what mileage? I've
been getting some terrible brake squeal lately at low speeds, not sure
if the pads are going or if it's just been a while since I auto-adjusted
them...haven't had much chance with all the snow.
