If you've got anything other than the 4.7L V8, the 3923s are only one
range colder. I run mine at .040 with a totally stock ignition.

Have you checked your O2 sensor? Mike Styer recently replaced that and
one other sensor in his '93 V6 and went from 10 MPG to 17 or 18.
