I've been there a couple of times and feel for you. Once the company wanted
to get rid of the high salary (me). The twenty years of service didn't mean
a damn thing. The other time, the company wanted to improve the appearance
of their bottom line for selling the company. Once again the highest salary
got to go.

Not to toss out to many cliché's but.. Hang in there, this may workout to
be better for you in the long run.
