IAC Solenoid...they're replacing it.

The IAC (Idle Air Control Solenoid) is what controls the idle quality of the
engine.

Subject: DML:Throttle Body Motor????

Help, Toronado is in the shop('99 CC Dak. 318 manual Lsd rear). They are
doing the following: replacing the clutch master cylinder, lubed the
accel. pedal, tightened various body bolts, and they are replacing or
adding an i/c motor to the throttle body. What is it? What does it do?
They say it is going to help the idle problem, you know where it idles
down low at stop lights and sometimes idles too far and stalls out. I
have never heard of this part, is this a bunch of crap to confuse and
shut me up until I figure out there cruel sick joke, or is this part
real? Bernd., Ron, somebody help. Oh, thanks for the info in advance.

Oh, he is still for sale, I just dont want the new owner to get screwed
with any problems and have the dealer not want to fix it cause he bought
it used. Hate to do it, but gotta.
