I personally would recommend getting a muffler shop to make a custom set of
duals for your truck.I have, and would recommend getting a flowmaster single
inlet/dual outlet muffler(I personally have the 40 series(2-chamber),but
they also make 50 series and delta flow series mufflers.)The shop then
doesn't have to make a "Y",the split is done internally in the muffler.A set
of duals is then easily added after the muffler. There are several bolt-on
exhausts available for your truck if you want to go that route as
well. Please feel free to direct anymore questions or help requests my way,as
I will be more than happy to help.Good luck with your truck, and I hope this
helps,

I have a 1998 Dodge Dakota with the V8 engine and want to put dual exhausts
on it. I
don't want it to be too loud but I want to hear the exhausts. Does anybody
have any
good ideas as to what kind of exhausts that I should put on it? By the way,
I want to
go from the cat. back.
                                         Thanks
                                          Kurt
