It happened at 8:10 this morning, Steve's post to the DML was at 7:41.
Coming down Forest Lawn Dr. in Burbank in my tow truck, I was making a
left turn to enter the 134 fwy. I did not have a stop sign, the traffic
exiting the fwy does. Beeeatch in a Civic does a Cali stop, looks and
sees me coming at 30mph and FREEZES!!!!! I swerve and brake (can't do
much with 16,000 lbs!!), but I still take out her left side, from about
the middle of the door (2dr Civic) back, knocking her into the bushes.
She pretty much bounced off my truck. I just re-arranged my bumper a bit
and bent my push bumper. I had a car on the hook also, and a customer
inside. Civic will be a total, it buckled the roof. I already got a new
bumper and push bumpers on my truck. We're all ok. I'll remember this
Steve!!!!!! :)
