The idle speed is controlled by the computer and is not adjustable. There
are "pre-lubers" on the market, but they are expensive. Summit Racing has
one for $450. It would seem to me that since you live in a cold climate,
you might consider a block warmer. This device keeps the oil warm so it
will flow sooner.
