I ported out a TB from a '97 (I *think*) and went to install on a '99 truck.
Since the linkage didn't match up, I decided to swap out shafts, and thus
the linkage... then I found out the newer TB shaft has a larger diameter
than the one from my ported unit. any idea on what year the transition was
made?
unfortunately I don't presently have an inside puller small enough to get
the shaft bearings out...
