PLATE???---attn Bernd

The Powerdyne kit doesn't use any sort of electronics (with the exception of
an auxiliary fuel pump and a relay for it). They use a simple fuel metering
unit (FMU) from Vortech that opens under boost (variable boost = variable
pressure)...that's how they richen up the fuel mixture.

(Paxton uses their "Paxta-Map Fueler", Vortech uses the Crane and Injector
system.)

Bernd,
What's this Vortech FMU that you speak of? My Vortech kit for my 98 5.2
came with S/C, Crane's version of an MSD (I liked it), and a second
computer(?) which reads vacuum & triggers the auxilliary injectors.
