Mike,

   I installed the 5.5 TC lift on my 97 this past Sept. So far I am very=20
impressed with the lift and certainly get a lot of looks going down the road=
.=20
 I did the install with the help of a member of the local 4wd club. The lif=
t=20
is pretty straight forward if you are experienced at installing them. Most=20
of the time we didn't really refer to the instructions unless we were=20
confused. The only real problem with the lift is that the upper control arm=
=20
mounting bolts have a tendency to move. To remedy this I installed an extra=
=20
bolt and a couple of flat washers in the adjustment area. I know this sound=
s=20
confusing, but I will be more than happy to snap a pic if you want it. Sinc=
e=20
I have a 3" body lift I was able to fit 35s with plenty of room. My next se=
t=20
will be 36s or MAYBE 37s since the 35s look a little small. I decided to go=
=20
to 4.56 gears to compensate for the tires. According to the gear calculator=
=20
this will give me a 4.04 corrected ratio (compared to my 3.14 I am running=20
now). Currently they are sitting in my garage instead of my diffs while I=20
wait for my mechanic to find time to put them in. If there is anything else=
=20
I can do for you, please feel free to ask.
