Ed,
I checked with DC and the underhood light was discontinued on the 2001,
also on the 5 spd; the shift lite in the instrument panel lights up when you
turn the key on but is not hooked up to the computer in 2001. Just another in
production change by DC. Book says one thing and DC says another.
