Maybe not at 7500 but at least every 10000. Did you forget he has an MSD
ignition and a hot coil? By 10k miles the rotor and cap show signs of
serious wear not to mention the plugs.

That is CRAZY........ plugs don't need to be replaced anywhere near that
often (dist. cap and rotor either).
