It could be but it didn't seem to me that was where the sound was coming
from. Wait until your truck is totally cool and bang your hand up against
the cat(s). If it's them they'll rattle when hit by hand.

Well, I stopped in and hopped under the truck, it's so much louder under
the truck. Could it be cats? What else could it be? If you put a sound
probe up towards the exhaust pipes (Before the main cat) you can hear the
knocking type sound. What's up with this?
