John, I noticed that you had a program to figure out spring rates. Could you
please e-mail me off the list? I am in the process of building a custom
Ruger 10/22 for shooting the scabs off a ticks butt at 100 yards. I already
have a Volquartsen trigger assembly and hammer along with their billet
action, a hogue overmolded synthetic stock and a Butler creek .920 barrel.
It tipped my curiosity when I saw you had this industrial program. What I am
looking for is the spring rate of the hammer release spring. The trigger
pull is still a little heavy for what I am wanting to you (ya know, like
sniper style shooting, time the shots with your heartbeat). Also, do you
make these tiny springs? I don't have a set of calipers small enough to
measure the diameter of the coil itself. Thanks for any help.
