You'd still get 40,000 miles on a set of tires, just 35,000 of them spinning
in one place! ;-D

I am impressed with the deflated numbers for factory rated SAE HP. But now I
am more impressed with the Dakota V-10 (ACR version) swap out then
purchasing a 'L'. For 39,000 dollars you can have 460HP/500TQ engine in
stock form in a Dakota QC that will out run any truck on the road. By
adding a twin turbo by STVS (yes..it is federal emission), then the stakes
are running in the 900HP/1005TQ. Which is better for the buck?

I spend 33,00 for a 2001 'L' or 39,000 for a Dakota ACR?

But then, I would hate to replace tires every 5,000 miles.

These trucks vary in hp figures..No 2 are the same.I'm sure your
Dak's
are the same from one to the other..I've seen stocker's turn low 14's to mid
13's..With just some Bolt on's ( TB,chip, filter) Ive seen them make over
400
wrhp..Go to

I also don't see why you'all are so fascinated with these trucks, any
body can own one..If you don't like them, then just leave them be..I had a
very respectable 99 Dak 4X4 (blower,headers,MSD,gibson,TB,M1 intake,Hoosier
slicks,Roller rockers,etc.etc).I just got tired of working on it..The L's
have it all and its covered by factory warranty,,
