Glad to hear everything worked out better for you Russ. I was pretty
worried about you there for a while. I hope that experience does not hinder
you from joining us in any other events. In fact I think there is another
offroad event with the Durango group next Saturday out near you in San
Diego. Let me know if you want to go. I am trying to see if Ed wants to
go. I hope you at least had fun before we encountered all the problems.
Take care.

Subject: DML: Got my Dak fixed after Hungry Valley trip

Fortunately, the dealer gave me no trouble when I took my Dak in to have the
alternator replaced. After I dunked the truck in that mudhole 6 or 7 times
on my trip with Ed, Chris, and some Durangos, my alternator died on me. I
ended up towing it home with my brothers Ram. Anyways, it was kind of funny
because every time I open the hood more mud falls out from behind the heat
insulator on the hood. But my dealer replaced the alternator, no questions
asked.
