aaahhh... that's where you are incorrect my Carolinian brotha' =)
You can swap to a larger displacement engine ONLY if it is newer than, or
the same of your vehicle, and you retain ALL pollution equipment that came
on the vehicles that offered that engine. (at least in Va that's how it
works). So, if you put a Truck V10 in your dak, you have to put that
gigantic Cat under there and all the other pollution nonsense that was on
the Ram. That's the only way it's legal, and finding a state inspector that
knows that law is about as common as finding a $100 bill in a urinal =)
