Try this:
1994 Dodge Caravan(traded in on my 00'QC)
3.0 V6/3-spd Transaxle
went out at 96,000 exactly
first fluid change at 18,000 miles(Valvoline)
second " " at 40,000 miles(Dodge Dealer)
third " " at 57,150 miles(Dodge Dealer)
fourth " " at 79,700 miles(Firestone w/7176)
at 61,876 while still under warranty,i had problems with my van.
Called various Transmission places, said they had lots of problems with even
the 3-spd transaxles...i need not go any further.
As far as the 3.0 goes,i went through 7(YES 7) serpentine belts.A chunk of
snow, ice,a rock...and off came the belt. ARRRGH!!!!!
I dont miss the POS anymore.I feel sorry for anyone who owns a Mitsushitty
3.0 V6 piece of crap.
I know 6 people who have these engines.
2 threw rods by 121,000 miles
2 were smokin oil by 90,000 miles
1 has 131,900 on it,the guy's hamster mill burns 200 miles to a qt.
