A couple of reasons why the ambulance wasn't going too fast. They had a
trauma patient on board, the worst thing you can do is bounce the patient
around. Especially for a patient who may have a spinal injury. From what
I've heard Dale Sr. had massive chest trauma and may have been a trauma code
so they may have been doing CPR in the back. Doing CPR in the back of a
moving rig is no easy task. They were also using a very top heavy ambulance,
you can't go too fast or you would roll-over..
